Aeroplane story

WALT- Last week and this week we wrote some stories. We were trying to hook the reader in by using our senses.  We also had to proof read by checking for punctuation, sense, spelling, where we had to add some more details, and deleting some word that we don't need. Here is my aeroplane story.

CRASH! We landed on a desert. It was so hot, the aeroplane was destroyed. It
broke in half and all the stuff was broken. We could not go back to New
Zealand. Then I saw a lot of people died .

Suddenly I saw a Pyramid. I went inside with no one else. ‘Thud!’ the door
closed.

“OH NO” I said with a shock.  Suddenly I saw a door. I opened the door. There
was a cage with a Mummy, that was sleeping, in it. I slowly took the key, the
key looked like a mummy. “CRASH!” The cage opened.

“OH NO” I said. The Mummy shut the door and took the key from me.

Suddenly I saw a bow. I shot the mummy in his butt. “OWEE” the mummy said.  
I took the key off him. I ran as fast as I could. Suddenly I could see the exit. I
put the key inside the keyhole, then the door opened. “YOU CAN’T DO THIS
TO ME” said the mummy. I closed the door and locked it.

Then a helicopter came. BANG, the pyramid crashed down to the ground in a
big ball of dust and bricks. I ran to get in the helicopter.

I felt dry and wrinkled finger around my let.  “GOT YOU,” said the mummy

I kicked him in the tummy. “AHHH”

I run as fast as a tiger. Finally I went inside the helicopter. Suddenly it wasn’t
the helicopter pilot in the pilot’s seat, IT WAS THE MUMMY!!!.

Painting a Picture in the reader's head

WALT- Use our senses in our writing to paint a picture in the reader's head. 

Here is an example of my writing. can you imagine the senses i your head?

One day I was lost at a jungle. My body shivered and was covered in goosebumps.  I looked around and saw dark trees covered in slimy green moss. The sun could barely get through the trees. I saw a bad snake. It bit me, it hurt, I fell asleep. I woke up and I saw some people who lived in the jungle. They made a fire to cook me I was so so scared. I saw a little door and a knife so I could protect me self. I went in the little door someone came. “Oh no he is gone,” said the man. They went back of the little house they saw my foot prints and the blood trickle. They followed me, I climbed at the top of the tree I saw them following my footprints. I set them in the wrong place at the dangerous jungle. I saw my friend lost in the jungle too. Then the danger was over.

Scratch card

WALT- In Room 10 we did scratch card. It was fun and easy to draw it.

                                   - In our chrome book we search Philippines sun.

                                   - I Drew it onto paper.

                                   - Then I got a Scratch card and draw your Philippines sun.

Erase-A-Face

WALT- In room 10 we did Erase-A-Face. It was a little bit hard and we have to draw our own face.
          - First Miss Scott our teacher take a photo with me.
           - Then she cut half of our face.
           - We've get a band a paper & we glue our photo.
           -We have to sketch.
            - Make it bright.
            - Draw a metaphor into it.

Goal Setting

WALT- Set goals to help us learn.

          -identify steps we need to do our meeting

Last week and this week we've make a setting goals. We had a goal for reading, math,writing and personal. If you finish your setting goal you have a meet with your family at school. Miss Scott, my teacher, will help me talk about my goals. This is my goal setting slide, please give me some feedback.

Sketching

This week we have been practicing our sketching.We have been drawing animals using shapes we can see and also practicing our shading. It is really hard to shade shapes. Here is my first attempt and please don't forget to give me a feedback
