Hello everyone, today in Science we learned how to light a Bunsen burner.
Aim:
I want to find out how to safely light a Bunsen burner.
Method:
Equipment
- Bunsen burner
- Heat mat
- Matches/lighter
- Safety glasses
- Gas
Instructions:
- Get all of your equipment.
- Wear your safety glasses.
- Connect the hose to the gas tap.
- Turn the collar to close the air hole.
- Light the matches or the lighter and hold it over the barrel.
- Turn the gas on.
- Turn the collar to open the air hole
- When finished, turn of the gas
